Ahh airport life! Whether you love them or you hate them, airports are a vital part of travelling. Some airports get it right, some get it wrong, and it seems like the Bali airport ticks a lot of the good boxes when it comes to traveling in style.

Arriving to Bali

Airport Transfers

If you haven't organised your transport from the airport, we suggest doing this before you land. The Airport taxis and the hustle that greets you when arriving can be quiet daunting and even aggressive with rates being a lot more expensive. So let us steer you in the right direction. We have a fleet of cars to match your needs from people moving vans and buses, to luxury sports cars, party buses, funky fun vehicles, even helicopter transfers for you to beat the traffic.

Alcohol & Duty Free

Just in case you forget to buy your Duty free when leaving to come on your holiday to Bali, you will be happy to know that the international airport now has a New Duty Free section that has opened up at the arrivals terminal of Ngurah Rai, Bali’s International Airport.

Why is this so important? Well, Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world, and although Bali is predominately Hindu, the laws that govern the island result in alcohol being classified as a luxury item. There are taxes between 180% and 300% on alcohol, so you should take advantage of your one bottle, 1 litre allowance per person when you traveling into Bali. If you do need more alcohol we have a delivery systems for competitive prices, just let us know and give us 24 hours notice and we will have your choice of alcohol delivered to your villa. If you do get lazy with pouring your own drinks, then we can have bar staff come and serve you drinks, or if you want to have cocktail parties we can help with chefs to organise cuisines of your choice.

Departing Bali

New Roads

Bali is currently developing the main highway that links the airport with the rest of the island and traffic can be quiet bad, so give yourself a little longer then you would think, especially between the hours of 4-8pm.

Lounge life

The Bali experience doesn’t need to finish once you check-in your bags. Give yourself 2 hours before departing to your home country to enjoy the small pleasures the departures terminal has to offer. Right after you clear customs and pass through duty-free section, above the restaurants on the second floor you’ll find T/G Lounge, an exclusive experience that offers free flow drinks, food and massages for only 300.000 Rp. It’s a perfect way to relax and enjoy your last hours in Bali.
