The annual light festival held by Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), Nusa Dua Light Festival, takes place in Peninsula Island, The Nusa Dua again this year. This year’s festival, which is the 4th festival held by ITDC, takes place from May 30th to July 14th, 2019.
I Gusti Ngurah Ardita, Managing Director of The Nusa Dua ITDC states that this year’s festival is, by far, the biggest light festival they have ever held. With the theme “The Mountain View”, Ardita proudly states that this festival is an attractive destination for tourists to visit.
This year the light parades will show the light in the shape of mountains, in accordance to the theme, making it a spectacular experience.
As if the thousands light displays aren’t enough yet, NDLF also provides the visitors with various other attractions. Unlike previous years, this year’s edition will have kid’s playground equipped with Mini Helicopter, Euro Bungee, Mini Train, Trampoline, Balloon house, and also Rabbit house.
NDLF 2019 also collaborates with Bali Blues festival as the closing of the whole event. Bali Blues Festival (BBF) will be held on July 13th – 14th, 2019. BBF 2019 will feature some of Indonesia’s biggest blues musicians, such as Gugun Blues Shelter ft Emmy Tobing, Endah n Rhesa, Balawan, Gus Teja and a lot of other musicians.
Ardita also states that the expected number of visitors of NDLF will increase from the 3.300 daily visitors in the previous festivals due to the increase in offerings and amenities.
